Sneak Peak Sampler: Spring Break Kids Camp Menu

Spring Break is just around the corner…

Well Fed is excited to bring back our very popular Spring Break Kids Cooking Camps for ages 7 -12 years old! We have two weeks running this March:

* Monday March 18th – 22nd from 9am – 1pm each day

* Monday March 25th – 29th from 9am – 1pm each day


THEME: Senses-Exploration of Food through your five senses

Day 1-Baking
Homemade Cream Puffs with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Glaze
Herb Cheese Bun

Day 2:
Asparagus Soup
Oven Baked Chicken Sandwich (herb butter, roasted red pepper aioli, arugula, bacon, cheddar, caramelized onion, pickled carrot)

Day 3:
Oven Baked Polenta Fritas
Beef Ragu Fettuccine

Day 4:
Korean Japchae (stir fired sweet potato noodle, seasonal vegetables and mushroom, sweet soy marinade, eggs)

Spring Break Kids Cooking Camps are Open for Registration!


Calling all Aspiring Young Chefs! 

Ages 7-12

9am – 1pm each day

THEME: Senses-Exploration of Food through your five senses

We are excited to launch a new kids cooking class series that focuses on food and our five senses: smell, taste, touch, hearing, and vision. How the layering of these senses creates our overall experience with food. Your kids will learn to look at food from a different perspective exploring with their senses along the way, as they create wonderful wholesome recipes from scratch.

Do your kids love to cook or want to learn more and gain confidence in the kitchen?

Well Fed’s goal is to get kids cooking from scratch, which we feel is an essential life skill. At our studio we teach hands on technical skills in the kitchen from qualified instructors in a safe and fun environment.  We hope to develop/encourage a life long joy of cooking and experimentation with food.  Our philosophy at Well Fed is to create meals and recipes that are healthy, well-balanced using whole foods.  Learn more about us.

What to expect? Each Day in the at the Well Fed Studio will focus on a new skill and adventure in the kitchen. All of the food prepared in the class will be eaten for lunch each day.  No need to pack a lunch:)

What to bring: a water bottle, please have your kids wear close toe shoes, completed waiver on the first day

The Role:
Assist in front of house sales and customer service for our frozen meals
Take orders of day to day sales via e-mail, phone and walk in
Assists organizing/completing delivery orders
Effectively communicates details of special requests to kitchen and driver
Assists day to day inventory management of frozen meals
Organization of front of house

Upbeat and positive attitude, with a passion to get things done right
Works well with people and communicates well verbally and written
Great customer service skills and ability to give the best service to our loyal customers
Computer skills such as Excel, Word and Power Point.
Organized and Detail Oriented
Punctual and reliable
Works well in a team environment

Last Delivery Before the Winter Break!

Well Fed will be closed starting December 22nd and will reopen in the New Year on January 7th, 2019.

No Longer Running Meal Assembly Classes- Starting Dec 10th 2018

To all of our valued customers,

We have come to the end of a era, as of December 10th, 2018 we will be NO longer running ALL Meal Assembly Classes.
I do this with personal sadness, as this is how Well Fed began.

We do hope that we did have an impact on making meal-time a bit easier as well as provide an opportunity to socialize with friends 🙂

We are extremely thankful to all of the individuals who had supported myself and Well Fed as our business grew from our humble beginnings.

We will continue to offer our healthy ready to cook meals to go for either pick up or delivery, if you need a few nights off from cooking 🙂

Well Fed November Menu

Well it’s officially raining!  Good time to cozy up to our delicious entrees this month like our hearty Turkey Chili, or our very popular Triple Cheese Mac with Butternut Squash. Yup they’re back for those who were asking!

We also added a wonderful new entree this month, Chicken Tinga Taco. Similar to our pork version, it makes for a super quick taco night and will please the entire family. We use all natural high quality chicken thighs without the use of hormones. The chicken is pulled Mexican style in a delicious sauce that is not too spicy.  It’s so good!

Well Fed is Growing & Improving!

We wanted to reach out to our all of our valued customers, to let them know of some new happenings at Well Fed with our Ready to Cook Meals. From a humble beginning starting out of my home… Well Fed is now moving to a much easier way for customers to place their order on-line. Yeah!

We will be transitioning to our new on-line ordering over the next couple of weeks. We appreciate your patience as we work through any minor kinks.

Couple items to note:

Ongoing, when you order 1 entrée you will receive a 2-3 serving size. If you would like to order 4-6 servings please order 2 items.

Order as many multiples of 2-3 servings as you would for your next dinner party or for larger families. This is great for individuals or smaller families as you can mix and match between more entrees!

We will still continue to have bulk discounts for entree orders:
8 + (2-3 servings) = 4 % off
16+ (2-3 servings) = 8 % off
32+ (2-3 servings) = 10 % off

NEW! Pricing Increase:

Individual entree (2-3 serving size):
*Meat/Seafood: $21.80
*Veggie: $18.80

Delivery Fee:
*North Shore: $5.00
*Vancouver/Burnaby: $15.00

This is a bit of change, but in the long run it will make much easier overall. We will be touching base with each of you as you place your orders to ensure that you are receiving the correct amount of food.
