Well Fed believes in teaching kids from the ground up how to properly cook from food from scratch. An essential skill in life that will serve them well in the years to come. Hopefully the parents will get a night off from making dinner too:)
Well Fed will be running Two Kids Cooking Classes over the first week of the March Break
Kids Cooking Camp-Full Week- Half Day (Ages 8-12)
The camp runs all week Mon Mar 9th- Fri Mar 13th from 9-12 pm.
Each day focuses on a new skill and adventure in the kitchen.
What’s in store for January’s Menu. This month we focused on health and well being, to get us all back on track from a little (lot) of indulgence over the holidays.
New take on our Classic Cottage Pie, with lean ground chicken and the addition nutrient dense Sweet Potato. We have brought back flavourful favourites like Chicken Marbella and Maple Mustard Riesling Pork Tenderloin.
For my daughter (our picky eater) we added Asian Lettuce Roll Ups. Kids love to pull together their own roll ups, giving them a sense of independence. I like these because everyone our our house agrees with this dinner option:)

Well Fed is excited to be partnering with The Juicery Co. to offer you another class on how to make Nut Mylk straight from the experts, co-founders Christina McNeill and Alex Troll.
During the class you will learn the basics of soaking nuts, and the benefits of it.
Also, discussion on the materials needed to make nut mylk, and what kind of nuts to buy.

We are very excited to introduce a New Three Part Cooking Class Series here at Well Fed.
Our talented Pastry Chef Shaya Sy Rantfors will be teaching, Artisan Breads in Five Minutes a day, from the best selling cookbook by Jeff Hertzberg and Zoe Francois. During the course you will take home your very own starter dough and make delicious breads like Quinoa Bread, Pumpkin Pie Brioche and delicious Gluten Free Breads. Yum!

We are excited to bring back our fall menu that highlights wonderful seasonal vegetables like Butternut Squash. That is right we have brought back our famous Butternut Squash Lasagne! So stock up, we only bring back this delicious vegetarian lasagne once a year.
As well as lovely hearty dishes like our velvety Butter Chicken and Classic Cottage Pie.
Gearing up for back to school (not sure when this will happen here in BC, hopefully soon?). We loaded the menu with family favourites and launched a New Chicken Burrito! easy to do for a entire meal or pull them out individually for lunches.

The Juicery Co is top notch quality all of their juice and nut mylk is cold pressed and organic. By working with a Nutritionist and Naturopath they have created nutrient dense juices that are delicious too. Guess what! Well Fed is partnering with Juicery Co. to offer a hands on juicing class from the experts cofounders Christina Mcneill and Alex Troll.

What to expect from the Class:
• Basics on how to juice for your health- Learn how to prepare your vegetables/fruits to the best type of equipment to use, as well as the health benefits for specific juices.
• Prepare and Make three of their fabulous juices

3. Greens One
• Each student will walk away with 1 bottle of each of the juices make in the class.
